I’m going to go through all the boosts to find the best Powers, Upgrades and Game Passes in Ink Game. Some are unlocked with won, some by reaching endings X or O, and some with Robux only. Let’s analyze and rank them all in our complete Ink Game tier list.

Below you’ll find a deep-dive into each Power, Upgrade, and Game Pass in Ink Game‘s shop. I’m here to outline the best ones based on how useful they are keeping in mind every game. That said, here’s a brief guide on each category:

  • Powers: You roll for Powers by getting Power Rolls (Not worth buying them with Robux). You can get them by reaching any Ending whether it’s X or O. The X Ending is achieved by voting to stop the games (Usually after Glass Bridge) and beating the Rebel mini-game. The O Ending is achieved by winning the final Squid Game after choosing to continue the games. The best way to farm Power Rolls is by farming the X Ending (Rebellion/Killing Guards) since there you’ll have help from other players. I highly recommend saving all your Power Rolls to roll with a Luck Potion active which you get from leveling up. They will increase your chances and they stack with the VIP Luck bonus if you want to get the VIP gamepass.
  • Upgrades: In addition to Powers, the Upgrades are also highly important and they cost 100M won a piece. You get won by just playing the games, the further you reach the more you win and you get a bonus if you reach any of the Endings we talked about in Powers above. I don’t recommend getting them with Robux since you can easily farm won, especially when you later get the Won boost upgrade. More on that below.
  • Game Passes: These are Robux exclusive upgrades and they’re usually not worth it so I wouldn’t get them. That said, if you have a ton of Robux and you’re sure you want to spend them on Ink Game then check out how good they are below.

S-Tier

EntryEffectRanking Reason/Notes/Tips

Lightning God
Mythic Power
• Damaging players triggers lightning that stuns, deals damage and heals 25% HP
• Enter lightning awakening mode when low HP that boosts the damage effect and increases healing to 100%.
• Incredibly useful in all damage-based games where you fight like Lights Out, Squid Game, or Rebellion
• The low HP effect helps in any game with HP
• Huge advantage in both Ending games whether it’s Squid Game or Rebellion
• Awakening has been fixed

The Doctor
Mythic Power
• You can revive yourself with Revive
• You can revive others with Revive
• You gain the Medic power
• Combines the best of both worlds between the Revive gamepass and Medic power
• Useful almost everywhere and even more useful if you’re playing with a friend
• Lightning God is still slightly better solo but The Doctor is definitely the second most powerful ability in Ink Game

Strength Boost
Upgrade
Get Push ability at Level 3 (The one offered during Red Light Green Light)
Also, each level increases:
• Push distance from the Push ability
• Distance you pull the rope during Tug of War
• Speed of closing the door in Mingle
• Damage you deal when choking someone in Mingle
• Damage and Knockback in Squid Game
• A huge variety of uses in most games
• Especially useful in Mingle and Tug of War
• The best Upgrade in the game
• Note that if you reach Level 3 Red Light Green Light will stop offering the Push since you’ve unlocked it

Ultra Instinct
AFK World Power
• You can do 5 attack dodges with a 60 second cooldown in between
• You get boosted dodges in some games
• Pretty much your safest bet for a defensive power that will make you almost unhittable if combined with high Speed upgrades
• Perfect for Lights Out and Hide and Seek and any game mode where you can take damage from players and NPCs

Time Stop
Mythic Power
• You can stun all nearby players for 3 seconds with a 90 second cooldown• Huge AOE freeze that can stun the entire lobby potentially
• OP for Lights Out and Hide and Seek as well as Mingle
• Has a long cooldown so use it wisely

A-Tier

EntryEffectRanking Reason/Notes/Tips

Medic
Common Power
• Every 20 seconds you can drop a Bandage item that you or others can pick up and use to heal.
• Now there is an animation for healing but it heals more
• If someone gets shot in Red Light Green Light, you carry them faster.
• While mid A due to the animation nerf, still incredibly useful in crucial HP-based games like Lights Out, Rebellion, etc.
• Excellent for both Endings whether it’s Rebellion or Squid Game
• Overall great for any HP-based situation which are numerous

Teleporting Gambit
Mythic Power
• One ability is for swaping place with someone you aim at when you activate
• The other ability throws a rock far away that you can teleport to
• One of the best mobility powers along with Phantom Step
• Both abilities are OP in RLGL especially the switch with someone that finished just before the timer runs out
• That said, both teleports are also good in other games for raw mobility
• The cooldowns are decent but longer than Phantom Step

Faster Speed
Upgrade
• Boost walking speed
• Boosts running speed
• Gives you the Dash movement ability Level 5
• Most useful on Red Light Green Light, Lights Out, Mingle and Rebel
• Overall a great upgrade to have after Strength
• Makes Phantom Step Power negligible at Level 5 with the Dash
• Like Strength, it’s useless on some games but this is negligible

Phantom Step
Legendary Power
• Grants 3 fast dashes that almost instantly move you in the direction you’re going• Very useful movement ability in combat games for solo that let’s you dodge attacks
• Good secondary movement ability to have if you’re not maxing Speed first and you can mix it up with the Speed dash as well
• The dashes are like spammable teleports for mobility and you can confuse other players especially in lights out

Parkour Artist
Rare Power
• You can slide which is sort of like a Speed dash
• You can double jump
• You can throw a smokebomb to block vision
• A highly underrated power even with the slide nerf
• Amazing mobility for PVP modes
• The double jump is great for Glass Bridge
• The smoke bomb is mid but it can sometimes hinder players in Hide and Seek
• Overall quite useful for mobility and on par with Phantom Step

Baseball Star
Get at the end of scheduled rewards
• You get a baseball bat weapon for high power knockbacks
• You also get a baseball projectile shot for damage and knockback
• With the buff Baseball Star is doing much better
• You have a separate CD push with the baseball swing which is good for almost everything that the regular Strength push is good for
• That said you also get a ranged skillshot that’s tricky to land but deals good damage and pushes as well
• Very good for every PVP mode

Hercules
Legendary Power
• Pick up, spin and throw players a medium distance away from you in almost all game modes• Really good for RLGL, Lights Out and Hide and Seek
• A better version of Super Strength since it doesn’t replace your push
• You can no longer throw guards so this might be on the verge of B but it’s still really fun to use

Won Boost
Upgrade
• Earn more won from all sources• Incredibly useful to unlock everything in the game except Game Passes
• I would max it after Strength but Speed is also a decent secondary choice so it’s up to your preference

B-Tier

EntryEffectRanking Reason/Notes/Tips

Trickster
Rare Power
• Every 60 seconds, place a banana peel that ragdolls players.
• Also gain a trip ability that ragdolls longer than Push from Strength.
• The best offensive ability in Ink Game for Glass Bridge since you can drop it on top of players standing on a safe panel
• Overall great for tight corridors like in front of the door at Mingle
• The trip is useful in some games and it’s better than Push in most cases

Quicksilver
Mythic Power
• Start slow in games and then slowly ramp up speed to run faster than those with Speed Upgrade boosts• This is now B-Tier with the fix but it’s definitely the worst Mythic
• It’s OP for RDGL and Glass Bridge since you can ramp up speed in the starting area
• That said in most other games it doesn’t have much use since it’s difficult to ramp it up and the ramping stops if you collide with anything
• Useless in fighting modes like Blackout and Hide and Seek

Blackflash
Epic Power
• Every other attack (hit or miss) triggers a black flash punch dealing massive damage
• After the effect triggers it goes on a 60s CD
• Overall useful in any HP-based game since the damage and knockback is massive
• The only problem besides the longer cooldown is that the effect triggers hit or miss so you can miss it if you’re not careful
• Count your strikes

VIP
Game Pass
• Choose your own Shirt and Pants color
• Get a special announcement when you join
• Display a unique VIP title whenever you send a message
• 25% Permanent Luck Boost
• 25% Permanent Won Boost
• 25% Permanent XP Boost
• Customize in Settings
• In practice, only useful for the 25% boost on Luck (Mostly for rolling Powers), Won, and XP
• While it’s still not worth the Robux unless you have extra, it’s much better than Glass Manufacturer Vision

Glass Manufacturer Vision
Game Pass
• You can see the false panels on Glass Bridge
• Enable/Disable in Settings
• Overall an instant win for Glass Bridge
• It’s still not worth it for Robux since it’s just one game
• I would skip it unless you’re swimming in Robux
Pro Tip: Even when you don’t have this, you can troll other players in chat on Glass Bridge by telling them you have it and telling them to jump left or right to check for false glass panels.

Player 100
Rare Power
• Ragdoll yourself to heal with the option to end the ragdoll at any time• Much more situational than Medic but works in a similar way and is therefore quite good
• You just have to find a safe place to heal the same way you would with a Bandage
• It’s worse than Medic since the duration is longer but you can end the ragdoll at any time
• Still pretty good for most games if you can chill for 5 to 10 seconds

C-Tier

EntryEffectRanking Reason/Notes/Tips

Player 120
Common Power
• Gain the Takedown move that’s a melee grab dealing good damage in some modes• It doesn’t instakill and is only useful in Lights Out and Hide and Seek where it can do around half HP of damage to someone
• You are stuck in animation as this happens and the cooldown is a bit long
• This is decent but there are better options out there

Super Strength
Epic Power
• Your Push has 3x the knockback it used to, but you get 3x more cooldown. • While powerful in certain cases the higher cooldown makes it worse in others so it’s C with the potential to be A in a few games
• Overall, it can be useful but I would rather get another power because Super Strength doesn’t work in Squid Game
• It’s useful in the first game to kill and Mingle to push people out of doors, but you can do the same with the Strength Boost and take another Power

Revive All
Game Pass Product
• Revive All Players• In general it’s not worth getting this unless you’re playing with friends all the time or you want to troll

Sharp Shooter
Get at the end of scheduled rewards
• During Rebellion (Choosing X), receive a revolver weapon instead of an MP5 that one shots guards
• The Revolver also has a Deadeye ability which locks onto all guards in your field of view and one shots them once locked on
• The Revolver is extremely powerful for Rebellion/Ending X since it one shots guards and the Deadeye ability clears a lot of them
• That said, it’s in C-Tier for the sole reason that other players can just pick to vote O/Go to Mingle and you’ve just been playing a run with no Power
• Does nothing for almost half the run, and then possibly is useless overall unless players pick Rebellion

Weapon Smuggler
Legendary Power
• Get a tool that can spawn grenades and flashbangs
• Flashbangs make your opponent’s screen go completely white for a short period
• Grenades knock back and ragdoll players without dealing damage
• This is mostly a troll power but it’s not useless
• The flashbangs can confuse players
• The grenades can push and ragdoll players in most games
• It’s C-Tier because both deal no damage

Bulldozer
Rare Power
• Gain a dash ability that knocks players you come into contact with aside and stuns you at the end• This might be the worst power in the game because while the dash is lengthy and it does knock back you get stunned for a while
• Overall not worth it

Dalgona Lighter
Game Pass
• Make Dalgona easier• This game is already pretty easy but this Game Pass does make it even easier but I wouldn’t recommend spending Robux on it

D-Tier

EntryEffectRanking Reason/Notes/Tips

2x Vote Count
Game Pass
• All your votes to continue or abolish the game and go into Rebel count as two• Overall not worth it at all despite the lower price
• The endings give similar Power Rolls so either one works out in the end

That’s it for my Ink Game tier list for Powers, Upgrades, and Game Passes. Don’t forget to check whether there are new Ink Game codes and also take a look at the official Trello for the game.
