Infinity Blade update tomorrow with in-App gold purchases

We at Destructoid are known for being objective and impartial at all times, but Infinity Blade is turbo-kick-ass and anybody who disagrees should have their ribcage pulled out of their arse. With that in mind, ChAIR’s iPhone battler is getting free DLC tomorrow!

The “booster pack” contains five new swords, five new shields, a new set of armor and five new helmets, including the Holiday Helm. These new items raise the level cap from 40 to 45. Also new is a fresh enemy, the Marrow Fiend, who is basically hideous.

Two rather interesting new additions are also arriving with this update — the very welcome ability to play your own music during the game, and the option to use real-world money to purchase in-game gold. If you feel like buying your way to success, then you’re covered.

Some time in the new year, Infinity Blade will get even more items, multiplayer, and fresh areas to discover. I’m looking forward to it. Are you, or should we get our anal ribcage extraction device?
