For anyone that doesn’t know, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the Super Nintendo is my favorite game of all time. So you can imagine my excitement when fellow editor Jordan Devore sent me a link to artist Matt Cummings‘s stylized depictions of every single major boss in Link to the Past (excluding Agahnim).
Most impressive to me are the details. The bosses themselves look great, of course, but I was most blown away by the fact that Link is not only using the correct weapons against each boss, he is also equipped with the Blue and Red Mail exactly when you get them in the game. Absolutely amazing.
I am in love with every single one of these, but, if I had to pick a favorite, I would go with Blind the Thief. The image is super creepy, and Blind the Thief just so happens to be my favorite boss in Link to the Past.
