While Lyle and I continue to kick the tin can of our own extensional crisis, here’s the lowdown on video games this past week:

  • Nintendo had a Direct that showed off more Super Mario Maker 2!
  • George R. R. Martin is probably, maybe, potentially collaborating with From Software on an upcoming game!
  • Red Dead Online came out of beta and more!

The calm before the storm that is E3 is certainly in full effect as we wait for what is maybe going to be the most interesting E3 in a long time with Sony being absent from the conference this year. Will there be new games announced? Sure, that’s a given. Will we see new hardware? Probably. Will Devolver Digital melt the faces of those in attendance at their own show? Absolutely.
