In Krautscape, the fastest racer builds the tracks

Now here’s a novel idea: imagine what it would be like to play a racing game where the very track you are riding across is procedurally generated in front of your vehicle by the person in the lead. That’s the gist of Krautscape, an upcoming multiplayer title for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

As described here with some helpful images, lanes are color-coded with specific colors having certain impacts on which direction the track will head in. Oh, and the vehicles (called Krautomobiles) have wings, allowing them to, yes, fly. It’s unclear how long this dynamic gameplay hook would remain interesting, but the game does have a nice art style to it as well.
