Dragon Quest Builders is a delight. It’s a completely new concept for that universe, yet it has many familiar elements like its timeless character designs and soundtrack. But a lot of you are confused as to what Builders actually is, so Square Enix dropped an explainer video that you can watch above.
The gist? The evil Dragon Lord threw the world into disarray, most notably removing the ability to “build” from its inhabitants. But much like the LEGO Movie you’re a master builder of sorts, and can educate citizens on the finer points of creation.
