When Insomniac Games announced its deal with EA Partners to release a new IP on multiple consoles, it was a win-win situation for gamers. A great development team working on a potentially great new franchise that can be played on more than one platform? This is bad how?
Some fans were more excited than other, like one who went out of his way to record a congratulatory message on YouTube, one that was basically a video love letter to the developer. This is the same fan who also baked the developer a huge Ratchet cake awhile back. The words “big fan” don’t do this justice.
If you’re wondering why this fan (and so many others) love and respect the folks at Insomniac so much, this might be your answer. The company’s co-founder and CEO Ted Price actually called this guy to thank him, and answer any questions he might have about the EA Partners deal and the future of Insomniac.
Good PR? Sure. Awesome, super-cool, and totally classy? Yes, indeed, and definitely.
