While I still have a few secret levels to master in Overcooked 2, my time has pretty much come to an end. I was planning on revisiting the co-op cooking action title again sooner than later since it’s the type of game that feels fresh when you’re playing with a different co-chef, but now I have even more incentive. Ghost Town Games is planning to add a challenging New Game+ mode to Overcooked 2.
“This will give you a reason to go back through all 45 levels and work to get 4 stars,” said the studio. “New Game+ will be coming soon and will be sharing more details as we get closer to its launch.”
I had expected eventual DLC like the first game, but NG+ mode is a pleasant surprise.
