I’m hopeful Cyberpunk 2077 won’t just be a good game, but a damn good role-playing experience

Nomad, Street Kid, or Corpo? What’s your Lifepath in Cyberpunk 2077?

Night City was more or less built for the corporations, so having both a strong connection and background with them should be extremely helpful during my time in Cyberpunk 2077. However, the idea of being new to Night City as a Nomad (mirroring the user experience in a way) also sounds cool.

Starting in the Badlands (and possibly even having friendly connections out there) might just push me over the edge into picking that as my Lifepath. Ultimately, though, stepping into a role (and the mechanics that go along with that) is what I’m most excited for in Cyberpunk 2077.

But will it actually deliver as a role-playing experience? We’ll just have to wait and see, but if the latest episode of the Night City Wire is anything to go by – and I think it is – there’s reasons to be excited.
