Admittedly, I was never the most responsible Tamagotchi owner out there but, if given a second chance, I think I could raise one of these little digital creatures right. I’ll feed it, clean up after it, the works!

Two decades later, Bandai is bringing these electronic keychain trinkets back in the United States with a smaller but still very much recognizable anniversary model slated for release on November 5, 2017.

Outlets like Engadget and The Verge have gotten their hands on the devices and the experience of digital pet ownership sounds much like it did all those years ago. These new models will cost $15.

If someone really wants my nostalgia money, they’ll reintroduce Digimon virtual pets.
