According to a BBFC listing, THQ International has been confirmed as the publisher for Swordfish Studios’ 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand

The fate of the title was in question when it was revealed that a number of Sierra-published titles — including Ghostbusters and Blood on the Sand — had been dropped in the Activision Blizzard merger. It was recently revealed that Atari had snatched up Ghostbusters, so it’s good to hear that Mr. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has found a new digital home.

The nonsensical story of Blood on the Sand sees 50 Cent and company playing a benefit show in a vague Middle Eastern country. When the crew gets stiffed on their payment (for the, uh, benefit show), they get tied up in an ongoing altercation over a crystal skull. 50 Cent will fire a rocket launcher in this game.

Yeah, this game sounds like a day-one purchase.
