I would burn down a convent for this scrap metal Big Daddy sculpture

I love BioShock. You love BioShock. Whether it’s on the PS3 or the Xbox 360, we all love BioShock. The artists over at Metal Park seem to be aware of this, and they’re making it really hard to not spend the hundreds of dollars it would cost to buy one of their awesome Big Daddy sculptures. That’s not very nice, Metal Park.

The aforementioned Big Daddy sculpture, and others like it, are made with screws, scrap metal, enginge parts, motorcycle parts and other bits of minutiae that have been welded together, polished, and lacquered (to prevent rust, of course). On the one hand, I find them striking. On the other, these sculptures are what post-industrial nightmares are made of — it’s terrifying.

Nevertheless, I want one of these things. I want it real bad. And I would kill and maim any number of God’s most precious creations to have it. I would harvest the entrails of innocents to pay for it. Do you want that blood on your hands, Metal Park?

It would really be a lot of blood.
