I totally forgot about Mekazoo, a Donkey Kong Country-inspired platformer

I remember when Brett previewed Mekazoo last year, but outside of that moment, I kind of forgot it existed. This newest trailer definitely refreshed my memory though, as it shows off basically everything you’d want to know in terms of gameplay.

The main gimmick involves swapping animal forms, which will allow you to traverse each level in different ways. I really dig the swiftness of it, like switching to the frog to swing on a peg or using a panda form to crush through a floor. The developers note that Mekazoo is coming to PC and consoles this summer, with a Wii U release to follow.
