Even with its new Battlefield infusion and nighttime mini-games, golf is mostly a low-key and quiet affair. Everyone stays really quiet and still; when something good happens, we’ll all golf clap — a really quiet and still version of clapping.

That’s why throwing LMFAO and Little Jonathan into a Rory McIlroy PGA Tour trailer is at obvious direct odds with the game itself. Screaming “shots” at the top of your lungs is appropriate nowhere other than a Miami nightclub. Church and the links might be tied for least appropriate places to do that. Respect the game, EA.
