Deep Down is unquestionably my most-wanted next-gen title. It’s not even close.
This Tokyo Game Show trailer shows what Steven covered earlier today: future New York City, stabbing freaks, a multi-person battle with a dragon, etc. Yes, the visuals are impressive, and I’m not going to pretend like that doesn’t affect my interest in the game, but the Souls-esque vibe it’s giving me is primarily why I want this so badly.
I’m wary of the story being set in 2094, but maybe that’ll make sense as we hear more.
