I Am Alive now a PSN/XBLA title, out this year

It’s been a long and boring road for Ubisoft’s kinda-sorta-awaited survival title, I Am Alive. After several years of development, most of them devoid of information, Ubisoft has announced that it is still kicking, and is heading to the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.

This news comes by way of a video in which executive Jade Raymond confirmed a digital release for the game, which is due out later this year. This could be seen as a demotion of sorts, or at least a sign that the game hasn’t turned out to be as worthwhile as hoped.

Whatever the case, I Am Alive seems to finally be making its way out of the gate. Only time will tell if the dark development period has been a troubled one.
