Independent developer Locomalito has been keeping old-school gaming alive in an awesome way with its free, high-quality throwbacks to fan-favorite classics.
Up next for the studio is Viriax, a “medical terror action game” (I hope this genre name sticks) in which you infect humans through procedurally generated levels. Based on the premise, the screenshot, and the knowledge that Gryzor87 is back once more for the soundtrack, I’m on board.
In the meantime, you owe it to yourself to try out Locomalito’s previous games. Hydorah in particular is the one to play, if nothing else.
