We’ve done a terrific job of, up until this point, neglecting to mention the good-for-today-only Steam sale on Bastion. The promotion is still valid, however, so there is time yet to add one of the year’s better independent games to your library.

This isn’t a quick-and-dirty port of the Xbox Live Arcade version; rather, it’s got stuff like native 1080p support, multiple styles of control, and there’s even a Portal turret in there. At $4.99, this is an obvious buy for new players and anyone willing to double dip.
