Hunted dev bringing Choplifter HD to PSN, PC

The company that is bringing us Hunted: The Demon’s Forge is also currently working on Choplifter HD, a remake of the classic helicopter rescue game. No, I didn’t just create that last sentence using a random word generator — it’s an actual thing that’s happening.

The game is in development for PlayStation Network and PC, and will have you strapping on a helmet and joining forces with C.H.O.P.R. (Coordinated Helicopter Operations, Preservation and Rescue). You’ll have a range of helicopters at your disposal which you’ll use across 20 mission as you save people in peril.

“We all have so many fond memories of playing the first game and the fun of rescuing people in hostile situations is timeless,” says inXile President and CEO Brian Fargo.

Choplifter HD is out this fall.
