Humble Store now lets you choose from over 35,000 charities

Buy a game, do a good deed

Way back when Humble Bundle started, there were three things they emphasised: pay what you want, DRM-free, and that part of the proceeds went to charity. Over time, two of those points have been flexed and changed to varying success (the Origin DRM bundles were great, the Namco one… less so).

But the one thing that’s never changed is the charity angle. Humble has now announced it’s allowing Humble Store customers to choose which charity their money goes to from a pool of over 35,000 different organisations.

What’s impressive is that it isn’t just big, well-known charities, but there are tons of smaller and potentially more local ones that would otherwise get very little exposure. It’s definitely worth looking through the list and finding a charity you want to support the next time you buy something on the Humble Store.

Are there any charities in particular you’d recommend?
