Within the first few hours in Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core, you’ll find terminals that require you to unlock the Security Override Alpha. However, the game doesn’t explicitly tell you how to do this.
This guide will clear it up and help you get the Security Override Alpha.

How to get Security Override Alpha in Deep Rock Galactic
The key to unlocking the Security Override Alpha is locked behind four different Intel tasks you’ll need to complete.

Here follows the Intel tasks to complete.
Reclaim a Complexity 2 facility

In simple words, Complexity refers to the difficulty of a map. You can check the Complexity of a mission before starting a run (denoted by the yellow triangles). You’ll need to start and reclaim a Complexity 2 facility by finishing all the levels.
Reach the bottom of a Complexity 3 facility
You can complete this by reaching the very bottom of a Complexity 3 facility. Unlike the previous task, you don’t need to actually reclaim it.
Download data from five Terminals
You’ll come across Terminals on your run. Interact with them to download the data, and do so for five of them. This will complete the Intel task.
Get 10 Expenite upgrades on a single run

Expenite are the bright green crystals that you can mine and deposit. Getting Expenite unlocks different upgrades to improve your build. The first upgrade unlocks at 120 Expenite, but the cost goes up from here. You’ll need to get 10 upgrades in a single run to complete this Intel task.
When you complete Intel tasks, you’ll advance in Clearance Levels. To unlock the Security Override Alpha, you’ll need to reach and clear Clearance Level 2. Thankfully, your progression (regarding completing the Intel tasks) will carry over across multiple runs/missions. Hence, a premature death or two won’t matter much; it will just force you to spend some more time to reach the next level.
