How to unlock FFXIV Amazing Manderville Relic Weapons

Once you’ve got your hands on your first Manderville Weapon in Final Fantasy XIV, you can begin the process of upgrading it to an Amazing Manderville Weapon. Here’s your guide for completing the second step of the Endwalker Relic Weapon, adding some much-needed glow.

Unlocking the upgraded Manderville Weapon

Before proceeding, complete the level 90 Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures quest, “Generational Bonding,” to unlock the upgraded Manderville Weapon task. This is the second part of your Relic questline, but the process doesn’t look too different.

Well-oiled, the Amazing Manderville Relic Weapon

• Talk to Gerolt (Radz-at-Han: X12.0,Y7.1); accept the “Well-oiled” quest
• Teleport to Ruveydah Fibers, wait at the designated location (X7.1, Y12.4)
• Visit Jubrannah (X22.7 Y6.7) at the main Aetheryte Plaza
• Purchase (3) Complementary Chrondite

Just like before, the Complementary Chrondite upgrade materials cost 500 Allagan Tomestones of Causality each, or 1,500 to complete an Amazing Manderville Weapon upgrade.

Once you have the three Chrondite in your possession, remove your Manderville Weapon and equip any other weapon for your Job. It doesn’t matter which, you won’t have it equipped for very long. Go back to The Crucible of Al-Kimiya and give Gerolt the Chrondite. 

After a cutscene, you will have your Amazing Manderville Weapon! And if you’re ready to keep going, you can move on with the third Relic Weapon step for Endwalker and upgrade to a Majestic Manderville Weapon.

Upgrading further Manderville Weapons

You’re free to upgrade as many Manderville Weapons as you have. To do this, talk to the House Manderville Artisan (X12.0 Y7.2) in The Crucible of Al-Kimiya to pick up the repeatable quest “The Next Mander-level”. Each weapon requires you to already own the Manderville Weapon for that class and three additional Complimentary Chrondite to complete. 

Manderville Weapon Replicas

Now that you’ve got your first Amazing Manderville Weapon, a replica of the basic variation will be available to purchase and store away in your glamor dresser. You can only get a Replica of a weapon that you’ve upgraded to its Amazing version. Replicas of the Amazing Manderville Weapon will become available when you complete the quest to get a Majestic Manderville Weapon upgrade.

To purchase a weapon Replica, talk to the House Manderville Vendor (X11.9 Y7.0) in The Crucible of Al-Kimiya.
