A rather special Star Path has landed in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but it’s a bit of a tough one to find and get started. The Astronomer’s Journey Star Path event is packed with plenty to do and unlock, but you might have trouble figuring out how to unlock it first.

How to get Astronomer’s Journey Star Path in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You can unlock the Astronomer’s Journey Star Path event by tackling Merlin’s On the Path of Stars quest. He’ll have this mission available for you to start as soon as you unlock your very first Realm.
The On the Path of Stars quest is a bit of a long one to work through, and you don’t get the special Astronomer’s Journey Star Path event right away. It’s not available until after you get the Event Board set up for Merlin, so focus on getting to this stage in the quest first.

How to view Astronomer’s Journey Star Path in Disney Dreamlight Valley
There are two different ways you can find and view the Astronomer’s Journey Star Path event after unlocking it:
- Visit the Event Board. This special, interactive item is added to your valley permanently in the On the Path of Stars quest before you unlock the permanent Star Path event. You can approach and interact with it at any time to view the Astronomer’s Journey Star Path.
- Visit the Event page. As soon as you unlock it, the Astronomer’s Journey Star Path is added to the classic Event page. You can find the tab for it right between DreamTeams and Shop on the main menu.
The Astronomer’s Journey Star Path event is only available to view as long as you haven’t claimed all available prizes featured in it. There are more duties and Tokens than you actually need to claim everything in it, so you’ll likely end up having leftovers you don’t spend.
As soon as the final prize is claimed, the event will be removed, and all leftover Tokens will vanish. Unfortunately, you cannot spend these bonus Tokens on anything like you can in regular Star Paths, so they’ll simply be removed along with the event page once you’re done.
How long is the Astronomer’s Journey Star Path in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
The Astronomer’s Journey Star Path is permanent, which means you have endless time to complete it. As soon as you unlock it through Merlin’s quest, it’s available forever until you claim all available prizes featured in it. This allows you to work through it at your own pace rather than worrying about any deadlines. It’s the only permanent event in DDV, so it’s a pretty special one.
