But even if some can be easily acquired in your first hour, others will demand exploring modes and proving your mastery. Here’s how to unlock all costume colors in Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls.

How to unlock all costume colors in Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls

You can unlock a total of five alternative costume colors in Marvel Tokon, with color nine being exclusive to the game’s Ultimate Edition, and colors five and eight requiring completing Team Episodes and Action Check/Combo Challenges with their set characters.

To unlock the sixth and seventh colors for the whole roster, you then need to play 10 casual matches with any team and reach 100 K.Os in Survival Mode. Just be warned, the latter means defeating the strongest version of the Champion in a one-or-nothing bout. To recap, you can check out all colors in Marvel Tokon and how to unlock them below:

  • Colors 1 to 4: Available from the get-go.
  • Color 5: By completing Episode Mode (each team’s story will only unlock the colors for its members). Completing any for the first time also nets you the Champion as a playable character.
  • Color 6: By playing 10 casual matches. Doing it once will unlock the color for the full roster.
  • Color 7: By reaching 100 KOs in All-Star Arena Survival. Unlocks for the full roster.
  • Color 8: By completing a character’s Action Check and Combo Challenge.
  • Color 9: Exclusive for those who purchased or upgraded to the game’s Ultimate Edition.

How to reach 100 KOs and defeat the Champion in Marvel Tokon

Unless you’re a pro or long-time tag player, Survival can be a steep climb, with the Champion being able to one-touch you in his second phase. Opponents over 80 KOs will also step up their game, even if they will be unable to use tag to its full potential.

To get to 100 KOs quickly and get color 7, we recommend picking a team featuring both a leader capable of dealing damage from afar and assists capable of covering their openings. For example, looping Ghost Rider’s heavy-auto combo with a simple tap assist can take you all the way if you want to cheese it. Make sure to also save at all possible times and head back to the menu before a defeat to avoid losing your progress.
