Core Keeper‘s Update 1.2 has introduced plenty of new content that will test your skills, but none of it tops the challenge of S.A.H.A.B.A.R.
The new boss can be summoned when you’re ready to challenge, but it isn’t as simple as clicking a few buttons. Let’s find out how you can challenge the main boss of the Void and Voltage update.

How to find the S.A.H.A.B.A.R. statue in Core Keeper
The first task is to update your map to reveal the location of the S.A.H.A.B.A.R. statue. You’ll first need to look for Breaker’s Reach, which is in the northern part of the world. However, this biome will be sealed behind indestructible walls, and the entrance will be blocked.

Once you buy the Brood Void Neuron from Nimusa, you can open the gate.
How to find the S.A.H.A.B.A.R. Arena in Core Keeper
To find the S.A.H.A.B.A.R. Arena easily, I recommend crafting the S.A.H.A.B.A.R. Scanner at the Titan Statue. You will also need the following resources.
- 20 Relucite Bars
- 20 Corrupted Allow
- 30 Ancient Gemstones
- 30 Mechanical Parts
Crafting the scanner is not necessary, but it’s better not to roam randomly in the Void and Voltage territory. When you’re at the Titan Status, also craft the Profane Override. To complete the process, you’ll need the following resources.
- 29 Relucite Bars
- 30 Corrupted Allow
- 30 Mechanical Parts
You’ll need the Profane Override to start the boss fight. Once you use the scanner, you’ll find the exact location. Make sure to prepare carefully before using the Profane Override to summon S.A.H.A.B.A.R.

How to defeat S.A.H.A.B.A.R. in Core Keeper
Now that we know how to summon the boss, let’s look at how to win the fight. The key to defeating S.A.H.A.B.A.R. is to target his four legs. At first, you’ll have to avoid the rockets that land in circles and leave a trail of fire. Always be on the move.
After the rockets come the lasers. To escape them, either move clockwise or anticlockwise based on the direction of the beams. If you do anything else, you’ll get caught and die. Once the four legs are damaged, S.A.H.A.B.A.R. will collapse. Land as much damage as possible, and wait for the boss to stand up. Rinse and repeat until the second phase begins.

Once the second phase begins, S.A.H.A.B.A.R. will have more health, higher attack speed, and release void pits that deal damage over time. First, target the void pits and destroy them with any ranged weapon. If S.A.H.A.B.A.R. starts firing his Laser beams, you’ll once again need to be on the move.
Your priority is always to damage the legs as much as possible, and then land blows on the body. This will eventually lead to S.A.H.A.B.A.R.’s end.
All S.A.H.A.B.A.R. rewards in Core Keeper
An enemy as difficult as S.A.H.A.B.A.R. brings great reward, and you’ll get the S.A.H.A.B.A.R. Mortal Housing. You need this for the Credence of Ruin Legendary Mortar. While the S.A.H.A.B.A.R. Mortal Housing isn’t a guaranteed drop, you have approximately 16% chance per kill.
To resummon S.A.H.A.B.A.R., return to the statue, craft more Porfane Overrides, and use them to call the boss.
