Since none of the puzzles included in this festive event give you any guidance, they’re all quite hard to find, start, and figure out on your own. Checking them all off is crucial for unlocking an array of exclusive prizes, though, so here’s how to solve Haunted Key Puzzle #6 for the Haunted Floating Festival event in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

To complete the Release the Curse Haunted Key Puzzle #6 for the Haunted Floating Festival event, you need to find all the Haunted Key Fragments, combine them to repair the Haunted Key, light up all Unlit Jack-o’-Lanterns, and reverse the curse by returning the Lost Magic Page to the Grimorie. Haunted Floating Festival Release the Curse Haunted Key Puzzle #6 walkthrough in Disney Dreamlight Valley

• Visit the Haunted House on the Haunted Floating Festival event island. All parts of this puzzle take place here, so start by heading to the correct spot. The Haunted House is dark purple and covered in festive Halloween lights, making it easy to distinguish from other buildings around the island. Head inside once you spot it.

• Walk through the main room over to the stairs at the back of the room to enter the hallway. Run straight over to the back of the hall to find the Ghostly Dreamlight Fox holding a Key Fragment in its mouth. As soon as you run toward it, it’ll disappear. You then need to chase this Critter around the Haunted House until it finally drops the key. Here are all six of the spots you will find this creature throughout the chase.
  • Near the back end of the hallway by the locked bedroom door.
  • Near the front of the hallway.
  • In the main entrance room by the sparkling book on the table in the corner.
  • In the storage room, which you can enter through the door on the left side of the main room.
  • Near the crafting table in the main room.
  • In the back left corner of the storage room, close to the red chest.
• After chasing the Ghostly Dreamlight Fox down around all six locations, it’ll drop the first Haunted Key Fragment for you. Pick up this item, then move on to the next task you need to tackle to get the other half.

• For the second Haunted Key Fragment, you need to find and light a total of four Unlit Jack-o’-Lanterns scattered around the Haunted House. Here’s how to find everything you need to get this done.
  • First, head straight through the main room and interact with the stairs near the back of it to enter the hallway.
  • Inside the hallway, walk over to the middle of the room to find two white lion statues. Equip your Royal Pickaxe and swing at the one on your right to obtain the Red Festival Key.
  • Exit the hallway, head back into the main room, and go through the green door to enter the storage room.
  • As soon as you enter the storage room, look left to spot a red chest. Approach and interact with it to receive two Jack-o’-Candles.
  • Walk past the storage room shelves, turn right, and proceed over to the back corner of the room to find another red chest. This one is a locked red chest. Luckily, you already got the key earlier when you smashed the lion statue, so interact with the chest to insert the key and claim another two Jack-o’-Candles.

• With all four Jack-o’-Candles now obtained, it’s time to find the four Unlit Jack-o’-Lanterns around the Haunted House so you can place the lights inside them. Here’s where each one is located.
  • The first Unlit Jack-o’-Lantern can be found to the right of the second red chest you opened in the storage room during the previous chest.
  • The second Unlit Jack-o’-Lantern can be found near the shelves in the storage room.
  • The third Unlit Jack-o’-Lantern can be found close to the crafting station in the main room of the Haunted House.
  • The fourth Unlit Jack-o’-Lantern can be found near the back right corner of the hallway.
• As soon as you light the fourth and final Unlit Jack-o’-Lantern, the second Haunted Key Fragment will drop on the ground nearby. Pick it up to progress.
• Now that you’ve got both Haunted Key Fragments, head to the main room and interact with the crafting station.
• At the crafting station, select the Events category and click on the Repaired Haunted Key option to combine the two pieces you found to make this item.

• Head back into the hallway and approach the Haunted House bedroom door near the very end of it. Interact with the door to enter the Repaired Haunted Key and unlock it.
• You then need to switch over to complete Haunted Library Puzzle #7. You cannot progress any further in this puzzle until the other one is complete, as finishing it reveals the correct solution for the next step.
• Once you’ve finished Haunted Library Puzzle #7, approach the Pillar Puzzle near the right side of the bedroom. You now need to track down four symbols around the Haunted House so you can solve this puzzle. Here’s where to find each one.
  • The first symbol can be found on the right side of the bedroom door and is a spiderweb.
  • The second symbol can be found in the storage room on the backside of one of the wooden crates on the shelves and is a cat.
  • The third symbol can be found above the crafting station in the main room and is a bat.
  • The fourth symbol can be found on the ground in the hallway and is a witch hat.

• Now that you know the correct order for the symbols, return to the bedroom and interact with each tile to rotate them to display the right picture. The correct order is:
  • I – Spiderweb
  • II – Cat
  • III – Bat
  • IV – Witch hat
• Finishing the Haunted House Pillar Puzzle grants you the Lost Magic Page item as a reward. Interact with the Grimoire in the middle of the bedroom to return this page to its rightful spot.

As soon as you place the Lost Magic Page back in the book, a Haunted Floating Festival Pouch will drop on the ground nearby. You can then open it to claim your reward for finishing this puzzle.
