What are Pawn quests in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

In Dragon’s Dogma 2, Pawn quests allow you to reward other players for strengthening your Pawns or collecting items. This request and its reward are visible to other players when they encounter your Pawn in the wild or the Rift. By doing this, you can obtain rare or valuable resources from others, providing them with items of equal value as rewards or gain badges from other people who use your Pawn.

How to set your Pawn quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2

You can set Pawn quests in Dragon’s Dogma 2 by using Riftstones. Upon interacting with a Riftstone and viewing its menu, you’ll find the option to set a Pawn quest. This allows you to choose your request and reward that other players can view.

The first part of this process is setting your request for other players. Your request types range from earning Pawn badges to collecting specific items such as curatives, enhancement materials, and other valuable items. You can make these requests as difficult or easy as you’d like, depending on what your current situation calls for.

The second half is choosing your reward. You can choose between gold or an item from your inventory, which another player receives for using your Pawn and completing its quest. Similar to the difficulty of your request, you can choose any reward from your available items, from a rotten apple to 10,000 gold. However, if you’re requesting a difficult task for a small reward, you’ll have a harder time finding help from others.

How to change your Pawn quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2

If at any point you want to change or remove your Pawn quest, you can return to the Pawn quest menu and switch your request or reward. You can do this at no cost, allowing you to swap your quest whenever you need. You can remove the quest and reward altogether by pressing the Reset button, which clears your request and reward options. From here, you can either keep them empty or change them again later.
