How to send gifts in Marvel Rivals

Help your friends acquire some new items.

Marvel Rivals has plenty of premium offerings you can buy to better customize your experience, including skins, nameplates, sprays, and more. Some of these items can be a bit costly, so you may sometimes want to help a friend out by gifting them something they want.

Since the gifting option wasn’t always part of Marvel Rivals, there’s a decent chance you’re unfamiliar with how to use it. The process is fairly straightforward once you know where to look, so here’s how to send gifts in Marvel Rivals.

You can send gifts by selecting the item you want to send, followed by the “gift” option in Marvel Rivals. There are a few steps to this process, so here’s a breakdown of exactly what you need to do.

  • Open the shop in Marvel Rivals.
  • Locate and select the bundle or skin you want to purchase for a friend.
  • Find and select the “gift” option next to the present icon.
  • Select the friend you want to send a gift to.
  • Pay for the gift to complete your purchase.

How to gift skins in Marvel Rivals

You can gift skins by finding the bundle or individual outfit in the shop and selecting the “gift” option. The steps for gifting skins are the same as the general gifting process, so you can follow the same ones.

You can send other players any skin you like, including most Hellfire Gala outfits. The only types of outfits you can’t send are those earned through the battle pass, limited events, and the ranked system since none of these offerings appear in the shop.

Can you gift the battle pass in Marvel Rivals?

Unfortunately, you cannot send the battle pass as a gift in Marvel Rivals. This feature could be added in a future update, but as of the start of season two, you cannot send it as a present.

Which items can be gifted in Marvel Rivals?

As of the start of season two, only skins and bundles can be sent to other players. You can technically also gift sprays, emotes, nameplates, and MVP screens since they’re included when you purchase skins. They can’t be sent separately, though, as skins and bundles are the only available items for gifting.

Gifting requirements and rules in Marvel Rivals

There are a couple of important requirements and rules worth knowing before gifting in Marvel Rivals.

  • You need to be at least level 10.
  • You can only send up to five gifts per day.
  • You can only gift other players items they don’t already have.
  • If the player you’re trying to send a gift to already has part of a bundle you’ve chosen, the cost of the item or items they have is deducted from how much you pay.
  • Your purchase is final as soon as you finish paying for it and cannot be refunded.
  • Players receive gifts upon opening Marvel Rivals after they have been sent.

There’s plenty of other content to explore in season two, so once you’re done sending gifts, you may want to review all Team-Ups, unlock all season 2 Twitch Drops, and learn Ultron’s abilities and kit.
