Palworld 1.0 is live, and we can access the Sunreach Island as a brand-new location. This place has plenty of mysteries, new Pals, and more. But first, you’ll have to reach the island, and you can’t do so by simply flying to the new place. In fact, it won’t even show up on your map until you’ve gained access.

In this guide, we’ll help you venture to Sunreach Island to discover all that Palworld’s 1.0 update has to offer.

How to access Sunreach Island in Palworld

First, you’ll need to have access to the Feybreak Tower. This tower can be found in the southern border of Feybreak Island. This location has extremely low temperatures so you should prepare accordingly by crafting better armor to protect against the cold.

Once you reach the Feybreak Tower, you can spawn the boss location. The tower is located at the following coordinates (-1294, -1669). The tower is guarded by Bjorn and Bastigor, and defeating them can be a big challenge if you’re not at the correct player levels.

Once you defeat the boss, you’re able to teleport to the top of the tower. There’s no other known way to reach the top apart from defeating the boss. You’ll find a portal at the top of the tower. When you interact with it, it will ask if you want to use the portal to travel to another location.

Approve the choice, and wait for a few seconds for the next area to load. When the load is complete, you’ll find yourself in the Sunreach Island. If you open the map now, you’ll find the exact location. You’ll also find a NPC waiting for you at the spawn point.

Speak with the NPC, and you’ll get your first quest. I have yet to complete the quest, but it’s most likely tied with the World Tree, which has also been added as part of version 1.0. This area also has its own list of Pals to capture, but make sure to level up first before you start exploring the area.
