There are three types of passes available in the game.

  • Basic Ground Pass.
  • Volley Ground Pass
  • Lob Pass

Pass TypeControlsWhen to Perform
Ground PassUse the LS to control the direction of your pass, and press the X/Square Button. Hold the X/Square Button to increase the force of your pass to make the ball travel further and quicker, but make sure to control the direction at all times.You’ll be performing the pass a lot inside the game. You can always opt for this option when you have control of the ball.
Volley Ground PassThe controls for the Volley Ground Pass are the same as the normal Ground Pass. The only difference is the moment when you’ll be performing it.The Volley Ground Pass is a good choice when you have the ball coming towards you, but you can’t control it. This will also prevents losing the ball by accident to an opponent while trying to gain possession of the ball.
LobControl the direction with the LS button and press the R1+Square/RB+X. Hold the buttons for a quicker pass with more force.This type of pass is great when one of your teammates is at a distance, and a defender is blocking your passing lane.
