How to make Tea Sandwiches in Disney Dreamlight Valley

What a strange sandwich.

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Tea Sandwiches recipe is one of the most bizarre dishes in the game. While it doesn’t look too strange at first, the items required to make it are an unexpected combination that you wouldn’t immediately guess.

Fortunately, this also means you can have a lot of fun with this dish. While some ingredients are mandatory, there’s some wiggle room for you to experiment and maximize the recipe’s Star Coin and energy values or make them optimal for gifting.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, Tea Sandwiches is a four-star recipe that uses the following ingredients:

  • Wheat
  • Cherries
  • Corn
  • Any fish

Once you collect all four items, use them on any campfire or within Chez Remy’s cooking pot alongside a piece of coal to create your dish. If you want to make the recipe again in the future, you can use the Search & Filters function to look for “tea,” sort the meal types by dessert-only, or choose the four-star rating option to narrow your results.

I wasn’t kidding when I said this recipe was odd. I don’t think I’ll be eating this anytime soon, but I won’t judge anyone who enjoys it. Maybe the flavors mix well in an unexpected way. Either that or Disney Dreamlight Valley’s magic makes anything taste good. Speaking of, let’s talk about this dish’s ingredients and where you can find them.

How to get Tea Sandwiches ingredients

Most of the items you need for Tea Sandwiches are available in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s early game. You’ll first unlock wheat and fishing from Goofy’s Stall and the ponds scattered around the biome, while corn is first introduced in Dazzle Beach. The only tricky ingredient is cherries, which you won’t unlock until you open the Sunlit Plateau or Frosted Heights.

However, Tea Sandwiches are a four-star dish with an “any” category. In other words, you can experiment with some of your ingredients if you keep wheat, corn, and cherries in the mix. If you want to make it relatively low-value to give as a gift or restaurant order, you can use cod, herring, or bass as your fish and add nothing else. If you want to turn this into a money-making method, toss a pumpkin and anglerfish to turn it into a 5,000 energy and 3,000 Star Coin recipe. It’s not the most cost-effective, but it sure is fun.
