How to make Root Beer in Disney Dreamlight Valley

It's not A&W's root beer but it will do.

Root Beer is a soft drink in Disney Dreamlight Valley that isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. There are only three ingredients you’ll need, however.

Root Beer Disney Dreamlight Valley ingredients

To create Root Beer in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll need Vanilla, Sugarcane, and Ginger. Thankfully, it’s not too complicated to make in the kitchen.

Sugarcane is found at Goofy’s Stall in Dazzle Beach. You can buy the seeds for 5 Gold each or the actual ingredient for 29 Gold. You’ll make more of a profit with the final Root Beer product if you decide to grow the Sugarcane yourself.

Next, the Ginger is picked up from the ground in the Forgotten Lands. There are long, green straight leaves spurting out of the ground. Interact with these to get the Ginger you require. Unfortunately, it will take you a while to get to this area in the game as you’ll need a lot of Dreamlight. Continue finishing quests from characters and complete the tasks in the Dreamlight menu to get this resource.

Finally, Vanilla is spotted in the Sunlit Plateau. Similar to Ginger, it can be picked up from the ground. There’s also a long stem of green leaves sprouting from the grass.

Once you’ve gathered all of the resources you require, go to a cooking station like Chez Remy’s oven or your own at the house. Place all of the ingredients inside the pot and you’ll get Root Beer for your trouble. It’s certainly an acquired taste, but Root Beer will provide you 166 Gold when sold to Goofy or 690 Energy.

Other wonderful treats you can make

There are all sorts of treats you can make for friends like Stitch and Anna. The Royal Ice Tea, for example, requires Majestea and Slush Ice. When made, it can be sold for around 230 Gold. Porridge with fruits is easy to make, with you only needing Wheat, Milk, and any fruit. It’s pretty cheap to make.
