How to make fog in Infinite Craft

Creating fog in Infinite Craft requires combining fire and wind to get smoke, followed by using smoke and water to make fog. It is a two-step process you can encounter within a few seconds of starting a new playthrough. In other words, you can quickly progress using these two merges before diving into more intense, complicated recipes.

While using fire, wind, and water is the fastest way to get fog, you can combine several water elements with smoke to get the same result. Ones like lakes, oceans, and seas will create fog when mixed with smoke, making them all viable options. Although I have yet to find a use for this, sometimes you may try to make a complicated object and need a quick merge with items already on your screen.

Once you have your fog, you can take things further by combining it with other items. Below are a few fog combinations you can try now.

  • Water + Fog = Ice
  • Wind + Fog = Cloud
  • Earth + Fog = Mist
  • Fog + Ice = Frost
  • Fog + Frost = Snow

While there are hundreds, potentially thousands, of other combinations using fog in Infinite Craft, these will help you snowball your progress, especially if you’re on a fresh run. You can make more complicated merges from here, such as creating Venus using fog and planets, making a ghost using a human, or creating déjà vu with time. Most combinations you encounter will lead to something new or give you alternative, potentially faster methods of finding pre-existing items.
