Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Star Path objectives often require cooking, befriending villagers, and finding resources. The above-average meal duty is no exception, and to get every reward, you’ll have to finish it before the Star Path ends. Here’s how to make an above-average meal in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
What are above-average meals in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
An above-average meal is any dish that is three stars or higher. Any recipe requiring three or more unique ingredients counts and will give you credit toward the duty. Four and five-star meals also count toward this, but you can stick to three-star ones if you prefer.
Below are some examples of easy three-star or “above-average” meals you can make in Disney Dreamlight Valley:
- Any puff recipes such as bell pepper, chili pepper, or eggplant.
- Grilled veggie platter
- Fish pie
- Carp salad
- Hearty salad
Similarly, if you have the A Rift in Time expansion pack, you have additional options for three-star meals:
- Falafel
- Vegetarian dumplings
- Cream cheese bagel
- Basil berry salad
- Pasta with herbs
When making these ten above-average meals for this Star Path duty, I made grilled veggie platters using three carrots, as these are readily available from the Peaceful Meadow, and I had multiple on hand. However, you can also use three lettuce to make hearty salads or various fish, spices, and vegetables to make three-star fish dishes.
Just be careful as you’re mixing ingredients, as random combinations can sometimes result in one or two-star dishes like green salad, grilled vegetables, or various sandwiches. Make sure your ingredients result in a three-star meal. When in doubt, experiment with a few options or add an extra item to increase your odds of making a higher-quality dish.
Once you make enough above-average meals to complete the duty, you can claim the objective to receive Star Path points. You can then use them in the Star Path’s reward list to redeem some cosmetics or Moonstones before the event timer runs out.
