How to help with the Naughty-or-Nice List for Winter’s Jest in Phasmophobia

Making a list and checking it twice.

Krampus is back for the 2025 installment of Phasmophobia’s festive Winter’s Jest event. This time around, he’s got a fun new task for you to engage with, which is the Naughty-or-Nice List.

We’ve never seen anything like this feature before, and it wasn’t part of the event in 2024, so it can be rather tricky to navigate. It’s a crucial event task to get done, though, so here’s how to help with the Naughty-or-Nice List for the Winter’s Jest event in Phasmophobia.

To complete the help with the Naughty-or-Nice List task for the Winter’s Jest event, you need to find, collect, and return all items listed on the brown sack in each event map. You’re essentially playing Krampus’s helper here, as you must gather all the requested rewards for him to score some major event points.

Where to find Naughty-or-Nice List in Phasmophobia

The Naughty-or-Nice List can be found attached to a brown sack near the front door of all event maps that are active for the day. This list is unique for all maps and changes in each contract.

How to find items for Krampus’ Naughty-or-Nice List sack in Phasmophobia

You can find items for Krampus’s Naughty-or-Nice List sack by exploring active event maps. Each day, there are four locations you can visit that will be decorated for the Winter’s Jest event. Around all of these maps, there are small gifts you can find on tables, surfaces, the ground, and just about anywhere else. Pick up these items and return them to the sack to complete the Naughty-or-Nice List objective and earn event points.

The items you need to place in the sack outside the active Winter’s Jest event maps are small gifts hidden around each location. The exact items you need to place vary and are drawn next to each of the names on the list. As you toss items into the sack, they’ll be crossed off, making it easier to keep track of your progress.

All Naughty-or-Nice List items in Phasmophobia

There are 12 festive items you may need to hunt down around the Winter’s Jest maps for the Naughty-or-Nice List sack. You’ll generally only need to find some, not all of them, depending on your specific list in the contract.

You can see which items you need to bring back to the brown sack by reviewing the tiny drawings next to each name. It can be tough to match the pictures to the actual items you need to find, so here’s what all of them look like and where to search for them.

What happens when you complete the Naughty-or-Nice List in Phasmophobia?

Once you successfully place all of the requested items in the Naughty-or-Nice List sack, a red box will pop out of it and land nearby. You can then interact with this box to claim a special prize. The first box I opened had a snowball gun. Another one I opened had a cookie. The items featured in these boxes seem to all be nods to past versions of the winter event, but we’re still opening boxes and testing to see what they contain, so we’ll add any additional ones we find here.

If you toss in an item that isn’t listed on the front of the sack at any point, the entire bag will then fill up with coal. A red box will pop out of it, too, but this one will have coal in it instead of a fun prize. You cannot add any additional items to the sack once you mess up, so you’ll have to try again in a different contract if this happens.

To earn even more event points, be sure to open all Krampus jack-in-the-boxes you come across, too.
