Fields of Mistria 1.0 has added a fair bit of content when it comes to raising a family, and you can now have your own children. This is an extension of the ability to get married to a NPC after developing romantic relationships with them.
In this guide, I will go through the detailed process so that you can quickly become a parent in Fields of Mistria.
How to get a child in Fields of Mistria
To get married, the first task is to marry your romantic partner. You can check out this romance guide to find out more about how to get married. There are 12 different options available in the current build of the game. I will still repeat the steps in short for this guide.
- Gift NPCs items that they love.
- This will increase the gauge by getting your Hearts.
- Once the gauge is past eight, you can choose to date a NPC. This opens the romance route with that character.
- Take the gauge to 10, which then allows you to craft an engagement ring. Hand over the ring, and you can get married.
Once you’re married, wait for few in-game weeks to receive the Mystical Feather. You’ll need this item to trigger a family planning with your partner.
If your partner agrees, you can begin a family with your own children. You can also decide not to have a child if you like. However, increasing your family members will also fetch you the Parent achievement that unlocks after you have a child.
The complete process is a pretty lengthy. Taking the gauge to 10 hearts is a really difficult task, and you have to finish plenty of activities with your partner. Having children is rather the easier
