How to get Warbond Medals fast in Helldivers 2

The war effort demands Warbonds.

In Helldivers 2, the more Warbond Medals you earn, the more weapons, armor, and capes you can afford. So, it’s worth hoarding as much as you can as fast as you can, right? Right. Here are a few ways to get Warbond Medals fast in Helldivers 2.

You will accrue Warbond Medals just by playing Helldivers 2. If you’re completing a mission or two while knocking out all objectives and increasing the difficulty, the Medals should flow. But they don’t exactly flow like wine in Toussaint, so let’s go over ways to open the tap.

Complete your daily Personal Order

One of the best ways to get a large chunk of Warbond Medals in Helldivers 2 is to finish missions and focus on completing your Personal Order. In online gaming terms, Personal Orders are like dailies, aka randomized objectives or goals you’re challenged to finish within a set amount of time. Typically, you’re given a full day, hence the name ‘dailies’. Helldivers 2 awards you 15 Warbond Medals with the completion of a Personal Order, so it’s good to check it every time you log in.

Raise the difficulty

You can earn more Warbond Medals as you up the challenge in Helldivers 2. The easiest difficulty, Trivial, typically gives you a single medal upon completion. You can start increasing the amount as you crank up the challenge. Soon enough, you’ll start raking in three or more medals at a time.

Search for ‘Places of Interest’ during the mission

Did you know you can find Warbond Medals scattered around the planet? Well, you can! Check your compass for question marks to seek out Places of Interest. Or, you can look for pulsing beacons of light on the horizon. These indicate a place you should try and investigate.

You may find a crashed ship with Medals inside, for example:

Or you could discover a large, metal crate with doors you can blow open with gas canisters or grenades:

Either option can reward in a few easy Medals, so keep your eyes peeled. It’s not always a guarantee, as some may store Requisition Slips instead. But those aren’t so bad, either.

For the most part, these are the best methods I’ve discovered in my hunt for fast Warbond Medals in Helldivers 2. Be sure to fill up you war chest with the Medals before heading to your Warbond progression path of choice for more weapons and even better capes. Because you can never, ever, have enough capes.
