The new Varlamore Part One update for Old School Runescape brings with it the ability to enter the Kingdom of Varlamore for the first time. However, it’s a little tricky figuring out how to get there. Here’s how to get to Varlamore in Old School Runescape including the prerequisites to access the area.
How to get to Varlamore
In order to get to Varlamore in Old School Runescape, you need to head outside the East Varrock gate and speak to an NPC named Regulus Cento. Speaking to Regulus Cento will give you the option to venture to Varlamore via his Quetzal named Primio. However, before you can access Primio, you first need to unlock Varlamore by completing the Children of the Sun quest.
Prerequisites to unlocking Varlamore
In order to get to Varlamore, you first need to complete the Children of the Sun quest. You start the Children of the Sun quest by speaking to Noah or Alina in Varrock square. It’s a rather straight forward quest, but here is how it’s done:
- Speak to Noah or Alina on the eastern part of Varrock Square. Ask when the delegation will arrive, which triggers a cutscene.
- One of the guard is suspicious, so it’s time to tail him. The guard will head southeast into Varrock and periodically turn around. When he does this, it’s important you hide behind a nearby building to avoid being seen. If you’re caught you will have to start over.
- Here are all the spots you will have to stop and wait until he’s moving again:
- First go into Lowe’s Archery Emporium.
- Second, hide behind the northern wall of the building south of the archery shop.
- Third, walk to the south-eastern corner of the building.
- Fourth, hide behind the western wall of Old Man Yarlo’s house.
- Finally, hide inside Old Man Yarlo’s house.
- After the last part, the guard will enter the building next to the Rune Shop, triggering a cutscene.
- Following the cutscene, head back to Varrock Square. Speak to Sergeant Tobyn.
- You must now mark the following four guards:
- First Guard: Outside Aris’s tent with hands on his hips.
- Second Guard: Near Benny and his newsstand. Not wearing a helmet.
- Third Guard: Outside Lowe’s Archer Emporium, leaning on the wall with his arms crossed.
- Fourth Guard: Found on the path east between the archery shop and Varrock east bank. Wielding a mace.
- Visit Sergeant Tobyn again and you will be taken to the cell on the palace roof.
- Speak to Prince Itzla to complete the quest and unlock access to Varlamore!
