The Powered Descender is one of the two new items added to ARC Raiders as part of the Riven Tides update, and it can prevent you from falling to your death. It will slow down your descent if you accidentally fall/jump from an elevated position.

How to find the Powered Descender blueprint in ARC Raiders
The best way to get the Powered Descender is by finding the blueprint. That way, you can craft it with the correct resources. The blueprint doesn’t have a fixed location (just like all other blueprints in the game).
I found it at the Hotel Panorama Azzurro. Based on some discussions on the official Discord server, other users also seem to have found it at the hotel. Located on the western part of the map, this location should be high on your list of places to visit during the raid. The Hotel Panorama Azzurro is also perfect for finding miniature ships required for an ongoing event.
Another possible option is to use the Dockmaster’s Detector to find containers in the sand that would otherwise remain hidden. These containers are an excellent source of loot, and you might get the Powered Descender blueprint if you’re lucky.
How to craft the Powered Descender in ARC Raiders
To craft the Powered Descender, you’ll need to have the Utility Station upgraded to level III. Once done, you’ll need the following resources:
- One Power Rod: You can craft the Power Rod at the Refiner. It’s also available as an Epic loot (very rare to find as loot, though).
- One Turbine Compressor: You can find this item from ARC Turbines, which can be found in Riven Tides.
That’s pretty much all you need to craft yourself the Powered Descender in the game.
