Finding the map in Big Walk is one of the most important pieces of action you should do early in your adventure. When you start out on the map, most of the areas remain locked. The advanced areas make it easy for you to get lost, and having the map in your hand will help you figure out the locations you have to visit.

Before we go on to finding the map, there is an essential prerequisite. When you begin your adventure, the map remains locked, as I mentioned above. You will have to open the drawbridge (the big red-colored bridge on the side of the ocean) to get access to the spot that contains the map.
Once you open the drawbridge and make your way all the way around the cliff, you will unlock an easy way to reach the starting area. If you notice your surroundings, you will find a big blue doorway that leads into the hills. Unfortunately, the doorway will remain locked, and you will need to bring a key.
From the entrance, head upwards to the left. You will come across a red tower with a puzzle to solve. Go to the roof, and you will figure out that there are five gourds to be found. It’s very similar to the puzzle you have to solve to open the drawbridge.
Look around, and you will find the five gourds. Bring them over and place them on top of the red tower to unlock the key.
Bring the key to the first key cutter located at the entrance of the blue map room. Once done, you will find a marker that highlights the next location. Once the key is cut, head to the locked blue doorway and place it on the location to open the door.
Inside the room, you will find two different maps. One of them is large and takes up almost the entire room. You cannot move this map, but it provides you with plenty of details, including all the puzzles that are yet to be solved.
The other map is much smaller, foldable, and you can carry it with you. This map is the one I have been using the most on my adventure. While it’s less detailed than the bigger map, it’s easier to carry and view as required.
