Disney Dreamlight Valley has all kinds of companions, gliders, and other cosmetics you can unlock to make things more personalized. The Magic Carpet companion and glider are two examples that look cool and are relatively easy to obtain early in your playthrough.

How to get the Magic Carpet companion
Unlocking the Magic Carpet companion requires completing the Aladdin Realm’s storyline. There are six quests to advance through, with The Ancient Revealed becoming available immediately after entering the realm and Carpet Diem wrapping up the story. You’ll unlock the Magic Carpet shortly after completing Carpet Diem.
After starting the Aladdin Realm’s storyline, you’ll meet Jasmine and help her find Aladdin while figuring out what happened to Agrabah. Once you find Aladdin and start his half of the realm’s quests, you’ll encounter Carpet Diem as the story’s finale, introducing you to the Magic Carpet and unlocking it as a companion upon completion.
How to get the Dreamlight Magic Carpet glider
You’ll unlock the Dreamlight Magic Carpet glider after completing Aladdin’s level four friendship quest. Aladdin’s friendship quest, Bring Your Own Carpet, walks you through enchanting and using the carpet for its intended purpose, bringing you along on a village tour that showcases its flying abilities.
While the Magic Carpet from Carpet Diem is a companion that’ll follow you and pose with you in pictures, the Dreamlight Magic Carpet glider lets you fly around your village. Or, well, you’ll hover above the ground while riding the carpet. At least it still looks cool.
How to equip the Magic Carpet companion and glider
Once you unlock the Magic Carpet companion and Dreamlight Magic Carpet glider during Aladdin’s quests, you’ll find both in your companion and glider customization menus. To access these, head into your inventory, select Wardrobe, and pick either Companions or Gliders. The companions menu appears near the top of the list, while gliders are at the bottom alongside Costumes and the Hidden categories page.
