Longtime series veterans will be familiar with the BAL-27, which first appeared in 2015 for CoD: Advanced Warfare. The unique rifle was widely regarded as one of the best guns in the title, and it was the main AR of choice for pro players that competitive season. But players will be surprised when they fire it for the first time. This is because the first four shots from the BAL-27 have a slower fire rate, and then the weapon speeds up after that.
As a result, the AR will have one of the fastest time-to-kill speeds in close-range engagements, but not immediately. If it’s anywhere close to as powerful as the iteration from CoD: Advanced Warfare, the BAL-27 will be extremely popular again, but mastering it will require patience. How to unlock the BAL-27 in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone
Once Season 3 Reloaded begins on May 1 at 9 AM PT, a new sector will be available in the Season 3 Battle Pass that players can complete to unlock the BAL-27. Players will be tasked with completing challenges to progress through every stage of the new sector before ultimately unlocking the new weapon.
Based on previous weapon unlock challenges, we don’t expect it to be too demanding. The devs will most likely create a set of tasks that relate to using an AR, and it will most likely only take a few matches to complete.
