To progress through the Springtime Floating Festival event in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you need to get your hands on several key resources. Most of them are basic items you’re used to finding, but some, like Springy Bamboo, are unfamiliar, making them a bit tougher to acquire.
Outside of this special event, you’ve never been tasked with gathering Springy Bamboo before. Because of this, there’s a decent chance you have no idea what needs to be done to earn it. You need quite a lot of it to get through this event, so here’s how to get Springy Bamboo in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Where to find Springy Bamboo in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You can find Springy Bamboo on the ground around the training camp section of the Springtime Floating Festival event island in DDV. This area is right next to the Bamboo Fountain puzzle, which is luckily also the same area where you’ll need to use this resource.
The event island can be a bit of a maze to navigate, so if you’re having trouble tracking down the right spot, here’s a full breakdown of how to get to the area where Springy Bamboo spawns.
- Teleport to the Springtime Floating Festival island so you land at the well.
- From the well, head straight past the Tinker Bell Capybara, walking right under the archway of Tinker Bell’s house.
- Walk forward a few feet, then make a sharp right, heading toward the Mulan walled-off section.
- Go through the dark red archway with pink flowers blooming on it.
- Walk forward a few more feet to enter this area.
- Head right to find the training camp area.
- Look down on the ground by the training dummies, tents, and practice gear to find Springy Bambooo you can pick up.
If you have the A Rift in Time DLC installed, you also have access to regular Bamboo. This plain variant doesn’t work for the event island, though, so stick to harvesting Springy Bamboo to work through the event puzzles.
Springy Bamboo respawn time in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Springy Bamboo respawns every five minutes, and up to three can be present at once after your first time grabbing this resource. The first time you go hunting for it, you’ll find a few extra lying around, but once you pick it up, only three will respawn back in this region. You need quite a lot of it to complete the Bamboo Fountain puzzle, so be sure to gather it as often as possible.
There’s plenty more to get done in this festive event. If you’re not sure what to work on next, you might consider working on solving the Rotating Statues puzzle or solving the Springtime Floating Festival Tinker Bell Capybara critter puzzle. If you’d instead like a break from this specific event, consider shifting your focus to the Elements of Nature Star Path event, which is also running alongside it.
