If you’re playing as an Arrancar in Type Soul, obtaining Partial Res is a fantastic way to unlock powerful new abilities. While some Partial Resurrection skills are better than others, they’re all quite helpful and worth finding as soon as possible. Here’s how to unlock Partial Res in Type Soul.
How to get Partial Res in Type Soul
There are seven steps to unlocking Partial Res as an Arrancar in Type Soul:
- Reach Grade Two
- Talk to Harribel in Hueco Mundo’s Colosseum
- Climb to the top of Hueco Mundo’s castle and find the pink orb
- Carry the small pink orb to the Hueco Mundo pit
- Complete the parkour Obby
- Collect the black Partial Res orb
Reaching Grade Two
You’ll first have to reach Grade Two before unlocking Partial Res. As you complete challenges in Type Soul, you’ll gain EXP that increases your grade over time. Continue finishing these until you hit Grade Two to unlock the areas necessary to get Partial Res.
Finding Harribel
Once you reach Grade Two, find the colosseum in the middle of Hueco Mundo, where an NPC is leaning against one of the pillars. Speaking to them reveals some vague dialogue; for simplicity, you’ll just want to head back to the castle, climb the stairs, and navigate the hallways until you find a bright pink orb in a room.
Find the pink orb
From here, your next step is unlocking the pink orb and bringing it to the void in Hueco Mundo. After waiting for 10 minutes or gripping another player, the orb will appear, allowing you to take it and carry it to the pit near the region’s spawn area. If you die at this point, you’ll have to obtain the orb again, so be wary of other players as you travel to the pit.
Complete the Parkour Obby and find the black orb
Once you enter the pit, you’ll encounter a challenging parkour puzzle, also known as the Obby, leading to a black orb. There’s no time limit for this parkour, so take your time and carefully jump across each gap until you reach the end. Interacting with the black orb will teleport you back to Hueco Mundo’s surface and unlock Partial Res for your character. Now, you’ll have access to a new powerful ability, which you can use during raids or against other players.
