Miasmite drops from phantoms that only appear at night. While being out during this time is risky, you’ll need to bite the bullet and use the lantern as a guide. Travel across any of the main pathways out of Vernworth and search for ghostly orbs. They’ll also let out a bloodcurdling laugh the minute they spot you.

Phantoms are tricky to take down, but they seem to have a fire weakness. Mages and Sorcerers work well against them, whether through your own Vocation or a Pawn’s. Whatever you do, don’t get too close to them since they can circle around you as a paralyzing tactic.

Once the phantom dies, look below to see if any Miasmite drops. Lady Elena’s mission only mandates three of them, so continue to take them down until the needs are met.

Even if the exchange with the Miasmite goes successful, the Saint of the Slums quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is just getting started. This will lead you to an investigation into the sickly Lubomir.

How to gather evidence and apprehend the abbess in Saint of the Slums

After getting a tour from Lady Elena, the next step of investigating the Gracious Hand commences. Step outside the building and Lottie will tell you about a basement sickroom. The door to this mysterious area will be locked during the day, so progress time to reach the night.

Go to the left side inside of the Gracious Hand to discover a set of stairs. The last door at the end of the hallway leads to the basement sickroom, which should be open at night.

Continue traveling into the basement and go past the entryway with a curtain. You must locate an Unlabeled Medicine near the table to the right and Records of Treatment on the bookshelf. A new waypoint triggers here, showcasing the location of two previous Gracious Hand patients, Jehan and Bruno, by a campfire. Next, go to the next point of interest to spy on Lady Elena’s secret meeting,

Return all the evidence to Lubomir, and he will instruct you to go to Radcliff, located at Checkpoint Rest Town. The settlement requires a relatively long trek, so make preparations or find an Oxcart in Vernworth to get there. Once there, give Radcliff the Unlabeled Medicine and wait until he looks over it (for a day or so).

With all the evidence, it’s time to head back to the Gracious Hand and apprehend the abbess by grabbing Elena. You’ll be compensated for your efforts with gold and bring justice to those who were wronged by her.
