How to get into the Street Fighter V beta for PS4

PC beta coming this fall

Recommended Videos

In North America, it’s easy enough to score beta access for Street Fighter V. You’ll just need to pre-order the PS4 game at GameStop, Amazon, or Best Buy to get a code via email. Those will go out starting July 20 and can be used to download the beta client ahead of the program going live on July 23. Folks who pre-order from PlayStation Network will need to manually download the client.

The rollout differs in other parts of the world. European readers can sign up for the beta at this link before July 15. If you’re chosen, you’ll receive an email on July 23 with download instructions.

Capcom is using a similar approach in Japan and Asia, but only PlayStation Plus members can apply. Lastly, gamers in Mexico and Latin America can join the beta by pre-ordering on PSN.

Again, this is PS4 only. Street Fighter V will hold a separate PC beta this fall.
