How to get Gyromag Systems in Warframe

What even is a gyromag?

Warframe is a game all about materials. Whether it’s getting enough to complete a blueprint, building enough of a stash to deal with future projects, or simply getting way more than you’ll ever need on accident (looking at you, Salvage), it’s the name of the game. However, some resources are more rare or difficult to get than others. Here’s how to get Gyromag Systems in Warframe.

Gyromag Systems are acquired by completing each phase of the Profit-Taker Orb bounty. To access the bounty, you must reach Rank 5: Old Mate with the Solaris United syndicate, found in Fortuna. Once you are Rank 5, head to the left of the main elevator and enter through closed doors to reach a small side room, where you’ll find Eudico, The Business, and Little Duck. Simply interact with the briefing table and select Profit-Taker, followed by any of the four phases.

Completing any of the first three phases has a 25% chance of rewarding you with five Gyromag Systems, with Phase 4 having a 28.75% chance for the same reward. Given how long Phase 4 can take, you should repeat one of the first three phases until you have all the Gyromag Systems you need.

What are Gyromag Systems used for?

Gyromag Systems are useful in a small handful of blueprints. Those blueprints, and the amount of Gyromag Systems needed, are as follows:

  • Cantic Prism Amp – 3x Gyromag Systems
  • Gravimag Archgun Enhancement – 10x Gyromag Systems
  • Klamora Prism – 3x Gyromag Systems
  • Lega Prism – 3x Gyromag Systems
  • Plinx Weapon – 10x Gyromag Systems
  • Xaku Chassis – 5x Gyromag Systems

If you only make one of the above blueprints, you need 34 Gyromag Systems. However, you likely need more than that since Prisms and Amps can be used on multiple weapons. As for which blueprints you should prioritize, the Cantic Prism, Plinx, and Xaku Chassis are all tied to Mastery, so it’s best to do those first. Anything else is merely nice to have or ties into other items.
