Galaxy Sprites are now available in Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 3, and you can find this variant on your runs. Like all special variants inside the game, Galaxy Sprites come in all types. Their exact spawn locations are random, but some of them have preferred spots.

All Galaxy Sprite locations in Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 3
Galaxy Sprites can be found in Sprite chests, but they can also spawn in the open. The odds will be low (as with the case with all special variants), so you’ll need to look carefully at as many areas on the map as possible.

- Galaxy Fire Sprite: Found in urban areas of the map.
- Galaxy Earth Sprite: Found more in forests and woods.
- Galaxy Water Sprite: Found more near water bodies.
- Galaxy Duck Sprite: Look in the Epic vaults at Frosted Flats and Sinister Strip.
- Galaxy Demon Sprite: Found in Sprite Chests.
- Galaxy Ghost Sprite: Spawns from chests at night.
- Galaxy Dream Sprite: Found from Storage Chests.
- Galaxy King Sprite: Found from Sprite Chests.
- Galaxy Punk Sprite: Found from Sprite Chests.
- Galaxy Zero Point Sprite: Found from Sprite Chests.
As of writing, we don’t have information regarding the odds for each of them to spawn. I have had more luck finding the Gummy variants combined with Golden, and the Galaxy variant could be following the same pattern.
How do Galaxy Sprites work in Fortnite
When you have a Galaxy Sprite equipped, you’ll get 20% more ammo from every pickup. You’ll also have the base effect of the Sprite based on its type. The ammo perk is an added bonus, so you get the benefits of two abilities at once.
To me, this is the weakest of all special variants released so far. Last week’s Gummy Sprites get you more Sprite Dust, which is definitely more useful than ammo. Moreover, I have never felt a dearth of bullets in any situation. Hence, both the Gummy and the Golden variants appear to be the more meta choice for now in Season 3.
