A lot of items in the game can be difficult to obtain, with often several steps and prerequisites needed before you can craft them yourself (and even then, at a high resource cost). One such vital item is the Advanced Electrical Components, which can thankfully be obtained in various ways.

Here’s everything you need to know.

Advanced Electrical Components are a crucial item in ARC Raiders, necessary for crafting various other items and tools, including Raider Hatch Keys, which are arguably one of the most valuable pieces of loot in the entire game.

They can be obtained through recycling (by dismantling certain items), looting (found in the world), crafting (made in the Refiner 2 workstation), and dropped from The Queen, one of the most powerful ARCs.

By themselves, Advanced Electrical Components are found in Electrical loot zones, and I’ve had a tremendous amount of luck finding them in the Power Generation Complex at Dam Battlegrounds. It’s one of the most-trafficked zones, and one many people spawn near, so exercise caution when approaching.

On the other hand, a lot of items can be dismantled into Advanced Electrical Components. These include:

  • Rocketeer Drivers
  • Combat Mk. 3
  • Tactical Mk .3
  • Power Rods
  • Telemetry Transceivers
  • Frequency Modulation Box
  • Photoelectric Cloaks
  • Spectrometers

Of course, each of these items is valuable in its own right, so exercise care when choosing which ones you want to dismantle. My advice to you would be to get Refiner 2 running and then simply to craft Advanced Electrical Components, thus removing the need to dismantle items that could prove more useful elsewhere.
