How to cure bloodshot Pal eyes in Palworld

Low Pal SAN stats cause bloodshot eyes in Palworld. If your Pal has been working for a while without breaks, has no access to hot springs, or is stuck at the bottom of a ledge, it will slowly gain status debuffs. The best way to cure this is to bring your Pal into your Palbox and let it recuperate or toss it into a hot spring to raise its SAN.

Sometimes, bloodshot eyes are also caused by your Pal not sleeping enough. Make sure you have enough Pal beds in your base for every Pal to sleep, or else your Pal’s SAN will drain, leading to them developing various illnesses.

In short, the bloodshot eyes notification for your Pals tells you that your Pal is on the brink of developing an ailment such as depression, which you have to cure using medical supplies. You can avoid this situation by catching and dealing with bloodshot eyes early.

However, your Pal can become depressed or fall victim to other illnesses if you don’t tackle the issue quickly, so make sure you move them to your Palbox or hot springs as soon as possible. If you don’t have a hot spring available at your base, allowing them to rest in your Palbox will do the trick, as long as their SAN rises above the bloodshot eyes threshold. While you can wait until their SAN reaches 100, keeping it above 50 also works as a temporary measure until they visit a hot spring.

Typically, your Pals will take breaks when their SAN drops. In some cases, if they get stuck at the bottom of a cliff or otherwise can’t access your hot spring, their stats will drain without you knowing. Getting stuck on terrain or a building can also prevent your Pals from sleeping, contributing to this debuff. Even if your base is fully automated, it’s good to check back on it regularly in case something like this happens.
